The world is a large place. During our lessons we have spoken much about continents ,countries and nationalities. We made booklets about our world. Today, we continue to travel across the continents and learn new facts about our world. But, what we will learn about… Let’s listen to the sound and say: What is the topic of our lesson today? The aim of our lesson is to get to know more about the birds. We’ll learn new words, read short texts about birds, speak about birds, write about birds, do different exercises about birds, make booklets. I. I believe you know wild and domestic birds well. Read the following sentences: 1) Domestic birds are: a hen, a chicken, a duck, a goose, a mouse, a turkey, a parrot,. 2) Wild birds are: an eagle, a sparrow, a turkey, an owl. Well done! 3)Birds can live in different places. To guess the name of the place unjumble the following words: restfo, ervir, glejun, gevilla, tainsmoun, Let's have a rest II. There are a lot of birds. Some of them are big and strong, some are small and funny. Some of them are strange. Introduction of new words. a flamingo, a kiwi, a pelican, an ostrich, a penguin III.
